Now living off campus with best friend Bonnie, as well as unexpected house-guest and former roommate Krista, and still dating sweet football player Hunter, Violet’s social life is set. But between classes, the extra-curricular cold case project Professor Bellows recruited her and academic nemesis Stewart to work on, and daily life as a semi-adult, Violet’s got a lot going on. Still, she’s never too busy for a good mystery, and life at Middlebridge is more mysterious than ever. Violet finds herself drawn into more shady circumstances, but this year it gets personal. Between her own mom’s Middlebridge past, classmate Stewart in trouble and even Professor Bellows himself turned-prime suspect, the stakes have never been higher. And with that extra pressure, Violet’s juggling skills are put to the test, as she solves the crimes and catches the guilty, but at what cost to her? No good deed goes unpunished, as they say.
